Today's Bible Verse

Ephesians 5:25-26

“Husbands, love your own wives, even as the Christ also loved the assembly, and has delivered himself up for it, in order that he might sanctify it, purifying [it] by the washing of water by [the] word,”

Encouraging Words

Then in our little troubles our portion is that of the Saviour, to watch and to pray so as not to enter into temptation. The trying path (Psa.16) is the path of life. There God is found; there is the deliverance for His glory and for our own. May God keep us in it!

Today's Hymn

Hymn 367, Verse 1

I am not told to labour
To put away my sin;
So foolish, weak, and helpless,
I never could begin.
But blessèd truth - I know it -
Though ruined by the fall,
Christ for my soul hath suffered,
Yes, Christ has done it all!

Selected from Hymns and Spiritual Songs for the Little Flock (Sel. 1856, Rev. 1962).
